What Others Are Saying About Hacienda Serena
Judith2023-12-19My family loved our stay at Casa Serena The plave was nice but what stood out was the 360 degrees of porches, views from all sides, pool, and gorgeous surroundings. The directions are good. Arrive by day the first time! We enjoyed the pool and views but also got out in the area. We recommend sunset at the Cepo Mirador restaurant the Heladeria Lares and takeout from Rancho T. Antonio was a responsive host. We will return.Paulina2023-12-16Absolutely loved our stay!!!!! the pictures don't do it justice. I spent every morning and every reading in the hammock. It was so relaxing. My family enjoyed the pool daily. Three of us did enjoy the hike down to the river. I wish we had done it sooner. overall amazing stay, we will be back !!Onier2023-12-04Amazing place. The views are hard to describe. Peaceful does not do it justice. Bring your own food and drinks and get ready to disconnect from the world. The kids did not want to leave!D2023-11-16The deliberately thoughtful and well-designed space at the aptly named Hacienda Serena is its own treasure, as are the stunning scenic mountains that surround the site. The amenities are first-rate, and you will want for nothing whether you are looking to disconnect altogether or keep up with your day-to-day responsibilities. These details are matched only by the masterful degree of service and care offered by Antonio and his team, principally Wanda who serves as the lead caretaker. They are responsive, proactive and mindful. It is a special place, with special people.Julio2023-08-24The location was perfect. A nice place to relax and enjoy the view.Michelle2023-08-09Hacienda Serena lives up to its name! Our family (2 adults, 3 teens) spent a peaceful week here. The views were amazing, the house is well appointed, and the infinity pool was fantastic. We went for hikes down to the river, which we had to ourselves all afternoon. The walking sticks are a great (and necessary) touch. The beds were comfortable and the sound of the Coqui’s lulled us to sleep every night. We followed the advice of previous guests and bought food to cook so we didn’t need to leave much. There is a Walmart in Hatillo about 1.5 hours away which has just about everything you need, including lots of traditional Puerto Rican items (I was in heaven). We did eat at the local open-air restaurant one day and went down the mountain to Lechonera Rancho-T drive-thru (que rico!). Also spent one day in San Juan and a day at the beach.I agree with others-if you are able, make the drive during the day. 4wd not necessary, but nice.Overall a memorable stay. Thanks, Tony & Frankie!Delimay2023-07-30Casa Serena is the perfect place to disconnect and reconnect with nature and your surroundings. Bring groceries so you can stay in the property and enjoy, the kitchen has everything you need to prep a meal. Great for a group of friends and/or family.Suzi2023-07-26I wish I could give Casa Serena more than 5 stars! Hands down, the best AirBnB I’ve ever stayed in. The views are breathtaking and the hosts provide lots of different outdoor seating and lounging options to enjoy them! The house and pool were impeccably clean. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked with quality cookware, utensils, and spices. I was also pleased with the number and quality of bathroom and pool towels provided! (I love a fluffy towel after a shower!) Communication was awesome! There was a very minor hiccup when we first arrived and Antonio responded and resolved it quickly. As others have mentioned, the hike to the river is pretty strenuous, but so worth it! My daughter and I had a wonderful morning hike down to the Bamboo Pavilion. We saw lots of lizards, butterflies, and gorgeous vegetation. Definitely worth the climb back up! We also really appreciated the pins Antonio sent to help us navigate to the house. Made the drive so much easier! Thanks for everything!!!Madison2023-07-10What an incredible experience! This was a last-minute booking and I had NO regrets. The house is immaculate, the views are so much better than the pictures, and the amenities were amazing. The hike to the river is a bit strenuous but conveniently located right off the property. Our family really enjoyed our time, we did not want to leave. The ONLY drawback would be the drive up IF you are not experienced driving up a mountain. Thankfully, I had someone to drive but if I were traveling alone, the drive straight up the mountain would make me pretty nervous. Nevertheless, we will be back. So worth it!Wynden2023-06-21This Airbnb was the best I have stayed in thus far. Not only was the scenery STUNNING, but this house has everything you would need and MORE. The small details of this home is really what made our stay amazing. The beds are comfier than mine at home!! I have never slept so good in my life! The rainforest sounds outside were so peaceful. I truly felt at peace and at home here! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! ❤️Load moreAirbnb rating score: 5.0 of 5, based on 101 reviews, showing only 4-5 star reviews
